Luhu for Hulu on your Playbook…not quite the solution just yet

Overview- Luhu allows you to watch Hulu on your playbook, only it doesn’t work perfectly and at this point is more trouble than its worth it.
What’s Great- Well it allows you to watch Hulu on your Playbook, which eliminates one of the Playbooks biggest issues. If for some reason you still need to use your computer, the app will not take up the full screen which is also a plus.  It’s cool to have a native app for Hulu too.
What’s not so great- Here is where the app really falters and it starts with video playbook.  Apparently this is a rare problem, but the audio for my video was completely distorted.  I tried to do the steps to fix it however I than ran into my next problem.  It seems the app doesn’t support Hulu Plus, which is were a majority of the content to watch is.  I could not play a video after I had the audio issue.  There are no video controls on the Playbook either.  So you can’t pause, fast forward, or anything.  You also need a separate app to actually select a video (this is a limit with the Playbook, not the developers fault).  Basically with video issues, audio issues, and no support for Hulu Plus, the app has a lot to improve on.
Overall- While its nice to have a native app for Hulu (or the closest we can get), the app just needs too much improvement right now to recommend especially at $1.99.  The developer also has an app for Netflix called Flix.  I haven’t downloaded it, but it works the same way so the limitations are still the same.  Maybe over time the app can improve on its issues and most importantly at least support Hulu Plus.  For now the best solution to get Hulu on your Playbook without rooting or sideloading is to cough up $6.99 and just get Splashtop.  This will allow you to fully access everything on your computer while still maintaining full functionality.
